How to make a zine

Казахские пословицы

Reading Kazakh proverbs i felt really strange, I almost cried ! I don't know my language, and now, the government forcing people to learn it, actually makes people hostile towards the language,

and I want to make people feel their language again, to make them feel ! so maybe this is a worthwhile aim to pursue.

I'm also thinking to look at Kazakh folk fairytale, this could also give me some unexpected insperation ?

Sayings:

Без еды не будет беседы.
I also got an idea of making a 'newspaper'-magazine-zine, it would be made by creating a kind of forms to be filled in by children, students, young people of almaty-Kazakhstan to write about issues that worry them.

At the same time it would be an artistic experience, since they would also design/draw their own illustrations (also to be drawn in specific picture-frames)

My inspiration here is something like a very simple - typewriter school newspaper like this:
where you can fill in your writing (typing), So important for me is this 'live' quality where you can feel a hand of the authors, as apposed to purely mechanical reproduction. Here, although it was filled in by hand in some places, it was still reproduced by some mechanical method (ditto), this also attracts me, so at the and I gess I come to something like a zine ?

Today I went to the Globe Theatre.

I see the parallel between Shakespeare Globe Theatre – Russian Globe theatre.

I decided to explore that link.
I Russia a theatre director copied the design of a Globe theatre in London and built it in Moscow. So I want to explore these link between these two. This link gous back to when great english theatrical revolutioner Gordon Creig came to Two greate Russian theatrical revolutioners Stanislavski and Nemirovich Danchenko to work on the production of Hamlett together. Two absolutly different artistic universes collided.

Because I recently became very interested in theatre design – Scenography, how space can influence how performance works, I decided to explore this link of two theatres that now live different lives , but both of them live in the same 'body' (because the structure is exactly the same), So I want to explore how the space influences performance on these two different but connescted examles.

I want to look for the ways to explore it graphicaly. maybe I should look at posters produced for their productions, what shoulde I look at ?

Абай
для нас как Шекспир для Англов,Гете для дойч и Алишер для узбеков.Как говорит наш народ "Кунди котинмен жаба алмайсын" в дословном переводе на русском:"Солнце не прикрыть своей задницей"

I WANT TO MAKE A FELT RUG using Kazakh traditional methods,

What do I want to say on it ?

I want to learn my own language, so researching i found a cool funny Kazakh proverb (a person on the forum was defending our national legendary poet Abai and telling that people should be proud of him and that he is so great that no one can take away how form great he is) so it basically says: 'one can't cover the sun with once arse'

So I decided to look at Kazakh proverbs.

Should it be one big collective book-diary of my going to theaters, or should each zine be dedicated to a single theater/play ?

New Idea - the First Project

I want to design a series of zines about my theater experience.
Ive been to many theatres in London and once even in a circus – nofitstate, so i decided to record it in some form or shape...
I wanted to do it anyway, just for the sake of my own learning about theatre and design – Scenography, so I think that it is an interesting project and I am very exited to do it. As my tutor Max said that the first tries, should be easy, as not to evolving but I feel that this one is a real deal, and I could work with it !

Here are some sketches that i prepared for silkscreen
